Our top 4 sprinters - Maggie Ahler, Mirae Fitzpatrick, Samantha Kochiu, & Ken'Niya Williams - competed at the very prestigeous Arrowhead "Myrhum" Invitational yesterday at Arrowhead High School. The girls performed well and it was a great experience for them to compete at this high level meet. This meet had most of the top Track & Field Athletes Wisconsin competing. The weather was cooperating until the 4 x 200 m. Relay. Then we had a 2 hour rain delay and after it was windy and cold. Ken'Niya was able to set a new PR in the 100 m. Dash.
The last meet before the Conference Outdoor Championships for the Varsity will be the Richmond/Erickson Invitational on Wednesday, May 8 at Hart Park in Wauwatosa.
We will be hosting the 31st Annual Rocket Freshmen/JV Invitational on Saturday, May 11.
